Happy Birthday Andrew!!

So yesterday was Andrew's 3rd birthday. I can't believe that my baby is that old! I've had fun watching him grow up and look forward to many years ahead. We didn't do a party for him, but we did have cake and gave him a birthday present. He now has his own camera to take pictures. He was so excited about it and I think he filled it up within a couple of hours. It's a simple digital camera that holds somewhere around 96 pictures. He's click happy! But here are a few pictures of him through the years.

Andrew's first picture, minutes after he was born.

One of my favorite pictures of him.

Andrew's first birthday. Yummy cake!!

Andrew's second birthday. We did cupcakes, but didn't get any good ones of him eating.

Andrew and his new camera. I think that he REALLY likes it!

What shall I...

Write about? I'm at a loss as to what to blog about so I'll just post some of the pictures that I took of the kids today. It seems like they grow up a littl more every day. Like Emma has really started talking. Of course there are times when she talks and no one but her knows what she is saying. But she is saying a few words. For example, please, juice, where'd it go, go away, I don't know, it is, and I think there are few more, but my brain has shut down. Andrew and I have started working on singing "I am a child of God" and he's getting pretty good at it. They other day I caught him playing on the piano and turning the pages of the hymn book and singing I am a child of God. He didn't know that I was watching and as soon as he noticed he stopped. So I was unable to get a video of it. Maybe he'll do it again and I'll have that opportunity. And then there is little Paisley, who seems to grow up a lot every day. She is experimenting with sounds and she has recently discovered her hands. The other day she was watching her fist go to her mouth. And I think that she is trying to giggle. I can't believe how quick it goes. With that being said, Andrew turns 3 on Sunday and I realized he will be in primary in January. My little baby is no longer a baby! Oh, well! You can't stop them from growing, just ask my mom! There will be a blog to follow with pictures of Andrew through his 3 years that he's been here. So back to those pictures I promised. (It always seems that when I don't think I can find anything to blog about I just start rambling! And then it all works out!)

Just lounging around

He loves to get his picture taken.

He's my first love, besides my husband!

Cute smile

I couldn't resist putting this one in.

I was trying to get a close up of her really long eyelashes. It's so unfair.

Special Day

Yesterday was a special day for us. It was Paisley's blessing day. My parents were able to be here as well as James's dad and brother. My mom made the blessing gown. And I must say that she did a wonderful job on it. Paisley looked like an angel. James gave her a beautiful blessing. All in all a wonderful Sabbath day.

Here is the gown. Pictures don't do it justice though.

Getting Emma ready for church.

Andrew getting his tie on.

This was too cute not to put on here. And he was the one that put the sunglasses on. He wasn't coaxed into it!

Everyone that participated with the exception of Bishop Swallow ( a very busy man). Starting from the top: Andrew Murphy, Scott Seay, Brian Bass, Tommy Franks (Grandpa), Mark Saniger (Uncle), Denton Saniger (Grandpa), and of course James (Daddy) and Paisley.

Daddy and Paisley.

They love each other!

The other day I was doing some stuff around the house and I decided to lay Paisley down under her toy. When I came back into the living room this is what I saw.

Emma was helping Paisley play. Then Andrew wanted to get in on the picture.

It looks like Paisley wanted some of Andrew's sandwich and he wasn't going to share.

And here is a bonus picture of Paisley smiling again. This was taken today. Her hair looks like horns because the other day I had her hair in pig tails. Yes That's right, she has enough hair for that. I'll have to do it again and take a picture. It's too adorable! She is getting to the point that you can make her smile. I can't believe how fast it has been going. But then again, I can't believe that in a few weeks Andrew is going to be 3 years old. I'm not old enough to have a 3 year old. Or that's how I feel. Sometimes I feel like it hasn't been that long since I was in high school, but in all actuality it's been almost 10 years. (My ten year reunion is coming up!) Crazy! I hope that I always feel young. I don't want to grow up!!

Lazy Monday

So it's Monday, the beginning of another week. Boring! But I decided to try and get a few pictures of the kids and this is what I got! I really like the fact that I get to stay at home with my kids and get to capture fun moments and see all their first's. And sometimes the last's.

I love Andrew's tongue in this. Emma is vegging out to Finding Nemo.

Now it's on the other side. And they're both vegging out!

You'd think that they are hugging on each other, but in all actuality, Andrew is trying to push Emma away and Emma is hugging.

He's my "cute Andrew" as he would say.

I am amazed at how long her hair is. I rarely leave it down, but after blow drying it last night it seemed to stay out of her face.

And here's the little sleeping, sweet (for now) child. (Only time will tell!)

Danicing Man 2

So here is another video of Andrew dancing. I couldn't get it to paste on the other day so I figured I would put it on today. He really enjoys dancing and has always been into music. Even from the womb. And when he was just under one his favorite song was No Diggity by Blackstreet. It was so funny to watch him dance then. I did have a little video of him dancing, but it wasn't really long enough and he didn't do a lot of dancing. But I can still see him in my memory.

Dancing Man

I know that Andrew is probably going to hate me for doing this when he gets older, but it's just too funny and I figure that he'll just have to get over it. He's always been my little dancer.
