Different stuff

A while ago I had changed Paisley's diaper, (yes I do change her diaper more than once every couple of days) anyhow, it was a new package that I had to open and get the diaper out. The diapers seemed to be shoved in there a little weird, but I gave no thought of it. So I changed her and went about my business. Well, thankfully not too long after that I saw her crawling around and noticed there was a whole int he back of the diaper. And of course I had to take a picture of it.

If she had a tail, it could have gone through it. Ha ha, I got a good laugh.

Moms get laughs out of the silliest things.

I'm just glad that I hadn't put pants on her and then had her poop. Man that would have not been fun.

On another note, we had the great opportunity to see some of James' family that I had never met. We got a call saying that his Uncle Jack and Aunt Dolly were in town and wanted us to come over so they could see the little ones. So we packed them up and took off to the O'Bryan's house. It was nice to meet them and get to visit a little.

I'm sure you could figure out who's who, but if not from left to right: James, Emma, Aunt Dolly, Uncle Jack, Andrew, Me (Leiann), and Paisley.

After we got home. I would say that she was a little worn out!

St. Patricks Day

I've been a bad blogger. I know. But better late than never right? Well, our St. Patrick's day was spent at home. I had bought the girls matching green dresses. So of course I wanted to get pictures of them together. But it was rather difficult so here are some of the ones I could get.

Cute Miss Emma.

Cute Miss Paisley.

Ineffective try at getting them together. I guess neither one of them wanted to do it! Emma was pushing Paisley away and Paisley was fussing and didn't want me to put her down. You win some and you loose some! Sorry no pictures of Andrew. He didn't get any special new shirt for St. Patrick's, they didn't have any cute ones. So he lost out. I'm sure he'll be heartbroken when he's a teenager that the I didn't get a picture of him on St. Patrick's Day back in 2009. I'm such a bad mom! Hee hee!

Bubbles

So I finally was brave enough, or not as anal enough, to let the kids play with bubbles. Now don't get me wrong, I have blown bubbles for them and they would chase them around and have fun with them, but up until now I have never let them hold them and do it themselves. I thought it would be too messy. I know, bubbles are technically soap so how can that be messy. I was just thinking about it being all slimy and stuff. Yes, too anal, won't let my kids play with soap! But I figured I needed to let my kids get "dirty" and try things out for themselves. Let them live a little. It actually went pretty well. Andrew didn't spill hardly any. Emma spilled some and put the wand too close to her mouth, but I just went with it. She actually was able to blow some bubbles. But the plus was that they had a ton of fun. Down side was that I didn't put them up high enough when we got inside and they got a hold of them and one of them spilled what was left on Andrew's bed.

Here's Emma blowing some bubbles.

I thought this was a cute picture. She caught the bubble on the wand.

Andrew blowing bubbles.

He was so very interested in seeing what was going on down there.

The kids hanging out on the PW truck. The older girl is one that I watch after school.

If you look close, you'll notice she has a bubble on her mouth. She was trying to eat the bubble stuff at this point.

Paisley was sad she couldn't play with the bubbles. Believe me she tried to grab them when I was blowing some.

Not a great picture, but it does show her little teeth. She has 2 now!
