Thankfully it's only peanut butter. But needless to say my house smells of it now. And thankfully again, neither one of them is allergic. They're hands were brown from it. I was only able to get the 2 pictures. I was afraid if I waited any longer there would be more peanut butter in my house than I wanted. It was already painted all over the bouncy horse. You know, the ones that have the springs attached to them and you ride. From back in the day. And i ahd a hand print and smears on my couch. Plus a few patches on the carpet. It's so fun!!! I had to laugh or else I would have sat down and cried. Good times!

This is what happens...
When you fall asleep for just a second cause you're super exhausted from growing a baby.

The news is out...
So the other post I was talking about...I wasn't feeling too well on the day we were doing the party. The reason being that I had taken a pregnancy test on thursday, the day before, and it came back positive!! Yes I said positive! For those that didn't know we had 2 different tests come back positive. Once in November of last year, the Sunday before Thanksgiving. And I started on Thanksgiving day. It was rather sad, but from what I've found out it was a false positive and not really a miscarriage, but still sad. And then again this February, but this one was more so because it was an actual miscarriage. They said it was chemical, but a little over a week from the positive test I started and of course was devistated. We didn't have time to really tell anyone the first time and because of what happened we didn't want to tell a whole lot of people about the second one. So this time around we were going to wait until James and I had heard the heartbeat and then let everyone know. But I'm not the most patient person. Anyhow, after I had taken the pregnancy test, I started spotting. So because of what had happened before I called the next morning and they had me come in to do a blood test. I had to go back in the following Monday to have another one done so they could compare and I wouldn't know anything until that day. A little bit of a long weekend. But they called me on Monday as soon as they had the results and said that my HCG (the hormone that makes preggo tests come back positive) was 253 on Friday and it was over 3000 on Monday. So I was definitely pregnant!!!! I was so relieved as was James. So we proceeded to tell just about everyone we know. Yes we are crazy and we do know what causes it! And we couldn't be happier. This little one should be here sometime around June 14th (due date), but hopefully before and not late. When we told Andrew that I was going to have a baby the first thing he said was I have 2 Paisley's in my belly. I asked him if he meant there were 2 babies in my belly to which he replied yes and that they were 2 girls. Since then it has changed to a boy and a girl. Here's to hoping he's not right this time around. Nothing against twins, but wow, that would be a lot. He was right about Paisley being a girl though! But we'll see. So far though everything seems to be going well, I'm already getting sick, (this usually takes a few weeks) and I'm super exhausted. But I'll make it through. I'll keep updating as I know.
Birthday parties
Okay so better late than never, but here are some pictures from the combined birthday party. James turned 34 and Emma turned 3. So we had a little get together with friends and actually held a party. I know I'm an awful mom, but Emma has never really had a big party. Her first birthday we didn't really do anything because I was sick and pregnant with Paisley. And her second we didn't plan anything either cause there weren't alot of little ones her age to invite over ( I know, excuses). So this year we went all out.

Here's James with his new iPhone. Which he loves and is playing on constantly. I know I'm a good wife! (Boast!!)

The birthday girl on the run. We...I mean I...decided on a fairy theme. Every girl had fairy wings and we did wands that were going to be decorated, but decided against it cause of all the chaos.

James' cake. He wanted a rubix cube. And since we didn't have the height to do the whole thing we decided on one section. Turned out awesome, but I can't take the credit because I wasn't feeling real well ( a whole other post) and my WONDERFUL sister in law decorated both cakes.

Here's Emma's. She did a really good job on this. It was fun to play.

Me smiling for the camera. And a few of the people at the party. Let me tell you it was a house full. Crazy amounts of people, but fun none the less.

Emma's birthday
I'm still finding it hard to believe that my little one has grown up. Any of them for that matter! She's 3 today! We are planning on doing a party for her this Friday in combination with James' birthday. There will be more pictures then I promise! But here are a few of her today. Such a grown up! Or at least she thinks so.
This isn't a birthday present, she just happened to be holding it when I took the picture.
Tonight to celebrate her birthday we are taking the kids to go see Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs. I've heard it's funny and I'm hoping the kids get a kick out of it.
Picture of the kids
I was able to get a picture of all the kids that actually turned out okay.

They sat still somewhat and they are all looking at the camera so I'll take it! I'm so glad that Emma is finally liking the idea of taking pictures. She says cheese whenever she sees the camera and smiles really big.

Isn't she adorable?!

And here's sweet Paisley. She's growing up too!
Oh, I almost forgot that we cut Emma's hair. We took several inches off. Somewhere around 4 or 5 inches. And of course she's still cute!

Andrew's birthday
So I know I'm a bad blogger. And it is WAY past Andrew's birthday, but I felt the need to play catch up today. Lucky you! So Andrew turned 4 on August 10th. I can't believe how big he has gotten and I am in total shock of some of the things he can do and say. It's hard for me to believe that it's been 4 years since I was holding a tiny baby in my arms and being so taken with him. He was such a beautiful baby! And I do mean that he was beautiful. Lots of hair. And so cute!
Here's Grandma holding the little man. Didn't he look like a little man? So cute!
What's wild is that this time next year he will be in school. Where has the time gone? At the time he was into spider man so Grandma made him the cake.
We had some guests over and had cake and opened presents.
Playing with a new toy and Emma.
He was excited about the presents.
His spider man ball and bat.
I think we are finally at the age that we are going to have to have parties. Not that I mind! It's going to be fun!
